'HALAL', 2016
HALAL (2016) is an archival box consisting of 36 photographs printed out of one roll of 35mm film. Beside of its primary purpose to fry junk food, Halal stand may be seen as an architectural expansion of a city exhausted from skyscrapers. The Halal stand is a temporary autonomous zone that simultaneously chronicles events related to both the overdeveloped and the underdeveloped world. The images depict the Halal stand as an industrial stainless steel monument that resembles to ATM facades made visible by its shining sheen which surround us.
