'Things Can Always Be Otherwise Than What They Are', 2013. Book (Hebrew)

The memoir scrolls the voyage of Ishai Shapira Kalter in the wild-wild east. He is a hustler who has nothing important to share and therefore he tries to change his occupation and become an artist’s agent. He is a small colorful crook which above all loves money and alcohol. At nights and days he rides by shuttle taxis from Jaffa to East-Jerusalem only to meet Abed A-Rahman -- A billdboard manufacturer who own an anarchist agenda. In cunning ways, Ishai tries to convince Abed that he should overcome his daily routines and act as an artist. The “Democratic-Totalitarian” reality, before the era of the “Revolution” will be revealed in this shady monologue.
